Overview:
Seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of Software Engineers developing software, firmware, and embedded technology solutions. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative connected products and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.
- Drive software, firmware, and embedded systems development initiatives.
- Partner with Product, UX/UI, QA, Marketing, and Engineering teams to deliver projects on time.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and development plans.
- Establish and improve development processes, coding standards, and best practices.
- Remove project roadblocks, manage risks, and support successful product launches.
- Coordinate development efforts across global teams.
- Support production issues, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 1-5 years of engineering leadership or management experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience with C++, C#, or Java.
- Experience with Python or JavaScript and UI application development.
- Knowledge of embedded systems, MCU, and ARM-based platforms.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and technical documentation.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex technical projects.
